What does blocking a User mean?
If for instance a client has requested that a John Smith no longer attend jobs for them, a block will need to be placed on John Smith's account. A block can be applied Contract wide, Region wide for example across NSW, or for a specific site. By blocking a User, they will no longer appear in any list for works appearing at the blocked location, and they will not be able to Log On to any Work Orders for that Site.
How to Block a User
Open the User Profile view for the User you wish to Block.
Expand the 'Contract and Site assignment' Panel.
Click Block on the right of the table, this will block the User from the entire Contract.
To block a User from a specific Region of a Contract, expand the Contract and click the block checkbox next to the Region.
To block a User from specific Site, expand the Region, then click the block checkbox next to the Site.
Viewing Block Information
When viewing the User List, Provider Contact List or Client Contact List, a block column exists which shows where Blocks are in effect. This includes filters which allows faster searching of users with Blocks. The list can be filtered by users with blocks, without blocks, or both. The information displayed in the block's column shows which Contracts the user has blocks for by displaying the Contract number. Clicking the Contract number will provide additional information such as which Region or Site of the Contract has been blocked.
Full and Partial blocks
The Contract code will appear as either a Full Contract block or a Partial block. The red 'Full Contract block' icon indicates the block applies to the entire Contract. The orange 'Partial Contract block' icon means that one or more Regions or Sites are blocked for the User on that Contract.
