Template Contracts
How to create a Template Contract
Click Contracts on the side menu.
Click "New Template".
Creating a template contract from scratch.
Checking the "blank" checkbox on the template line.
Creating a template contract from an existing template contract.
Uncheck the Blank checkbox and click the "Select a template" dropdown and Click the "Proceed" button.
All of the sections found when building a Template Contract will match that of a normal Contract. The notable differences between a normal Contract and the Template we are building is the Details section.
| Setting name | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Active | Making a Template Contract Active will allow users create Contracts based on this Template. |
| Contract Title | All Template Contracts require a Title. |
| Client | A Client can not be selected on a Template Contract |
| Testing | Setting a template contract to Testing will not allow users to create a contract based on this template, having this setting checked makes it act similar to a draft email. |
| Template Description | Providing a description to the contract will allow other users to understand the purpose of this template contract. |
How to create a Contract from a Template Contract
Click Contracts on the side menu.
Click "New Contract".

Creating a contract from an existing template contract
Uncheck the Blank checkbox and click the "Select a template" dropdown and select the Template Contract and click the "Proceed" button.
Finalising creation.
This will open the new contract form, pre-populating the settings based on the template settings. Select a client and any other mandatory fields click save to create the contract.
Accessing the Template Contract List
